Review company identity and external verification results

Compare organization details with GLEIF, VIES, Companies House, and IAF sources without confusing customer-entered data with provider results.

What verification means

Company verification helps an Owner or Admin compare the organization profile with an external public source. It records the source, identifier, time, selected result, and history. A registry match does not prove ownership, KYC completion, tender eligibility, or certification beyond what the provider returned.

Provider availability

GLEIF search and VIES VAT validation are available when their public services respond. Companies House requires a configured server-side API key. IAF CertSearch remains unavailable until approved Enterprise/API access exists.

Select and review the correct entity

Search by legal name or identifier, inspect the returned entity, and compare differences before saving. Only an organization Owner or Admin can confirm changes. TenderFaro re-fetches the selected provider record server-side before persistence.

Provenance and refresh history

Saved results preserve provider, identifier, source reference, confirmation time, confirming user, and a bounded snapshot. A temporary provider outage records the attempt without overwriting a previous successful result as invalid.

Common errors

If the provider is unavailable, retain the existing profile and retry later. A missing credential or external-access message means the integration is not configured; it is not a negative verification result.
